Cut through the blockage
Main line clearing. An electric eel or jet blasting cuts through whatever has stopped the sewer, so sewage moves off the property again and the household can run normally.
A backed-up sewer hits every drain in the house at once, because the pan, the shower and the laundry all share the single line out to the street. Beachmere is home ground for Beachmere Same Day Blocked Drains, and sewer clearing sits at the core of our drain services.
If we're late, $100 comes off your bill

The line that carries everything away from the house runs out to Unitywater's main, and anything can stop anywhere along it. We trace the trouble, clear the blockage and repair the pipe where the damage goes deeper than a simple clog.

Beachmere sits on sand and alluvial flats barely above the tide, so sewer lines on the flattest streets stay close to full of groundwater through the year. Standing water lets silt settle, and the line slows long before anything properly blocks.
Much of the public sewer here is asbestos cement, a generation older than PVC, with pump stations lifting the flow across ground that has no natural fall. A cracked length or a stalled pump in that chain shows up as backed-up drains in the house.
On a king tide with summer rain, it is the stormwater outlets that cannot discharge, so overflowing gullies sometimes have nothing to do with the sewer at all. Blocked stormwater covers that side of things.
The coastal lots along Bayside Drive and Bellay Road run to water but not sewer, and those systems act differently whenever the sand underneath saturates.
Every sewer job comes down to a handful of core moves, done in the order the pipe needs:

Main line clearing. An electric eel or jet blasting cuts through whatever has stopped the sewer, so sewage moves off the property again and the household can run normally.

The right clearing tool. A plug of paper needs different treatment to a root mass filling the pipe, and the right approach leaves the line clean instead of partly open.

Camera when it repeats. A camera goes down when blockages repeat, showing whether sand, roots or a cracked pipe caused it, and pointing to the lasting fix: CCTV drain inspection.

Fix the pipe itself. Cracked or collapsed lengths are dug out and replaced, or relined where digging does not suit the sandy ground, with the options behind drain repairs explained plainly.

Contain the mess. Gully and indoor overflows are dealt with while the line is cleared, so sewage never gets to spread across bathroom or laundry floors.

The full run inspected. The line from your property out to the street connection gets checked, so you know whether the trouble is yours or Unitywater's before anything is paid.

Certain patterns show up here again and again, and each one points to a distinct cause:
Pressure with nowhere to go. An outside gully that bubbles over on washing days usually means the main line is already partly blocked, and the backing-up has only one way out.
One line, one problem. When several fixtures slow at once, the blockage sits downstream of them all, deep in the shared sewer, and every flush adds to it until clearing brings relief.
A leak underground. A damp patch or sewer smell in the yard can mark a cracked pipe letting sewage out under the sand, and a camera run confirms it before anything gets dug.
Not just bad luck. A sewer that blocks every few months has something physical in it, usually roots or washed-in sand catching the flow at one spot, and that never improves alone.

Leaving a main line blocked costs more than calling it in early:
Once the line is full, the lowest fixture in the house cops it first, and in these single-storey homes that is often a shower or floor waste. Keeping overflow off the floor is the whole reason to move quickly.
Sand, roots and collapsed pipe are physical obstructions, and time will not dissolve them. Clearing beats waiting out a line that will only back up again.
A main that keeps filling has a reason, and finding it on camera stops small faults turning into excavations.

On (07) 3112 7997, run through which fixtures are slow, gurgling or overflowing, so the plumber on the way knows where to start.

We show you the cause, talk through the fix and give a fixed upfront price, and work begins only when you are happy with it.

The blockage is cut through with whatever the pipe needs, an electric eel or jet blasting, then a second run of water confirms the whole line carries flow.

The line gets a full flush until it runs clear, and you see it draining properly before the plumber heads off.

Sewer clearing covers Ningi, Godwin Beach, Burpengary East, Morayfield and Caboolture as well, with the same method used in each.
To the connection point. Your pipe runs from the house to where it meets Unitywater's sewer main, and everything up to that junction is yours, while the main itself sits with them.
Depth, access and cause. Price reflects how deep the line runs, how easily it can be reached and what is actually in it, and that fixed figure is agreed before any clearing.
Age and the pump chain. Asbestos cement still forms much of the reticulation, and pump stations lift the flow across ground with no fall, so a stalled pump backs drains up fast.
Often the tide, not the sewer. With a king tide and rain about, surface water backs up through gullies here in Beachmere, and clearing the sewer will not change how that behaves.
No, those lots run septic. Bishop Road and Campbell Parade hold properties on water but not sewer, so those homes rely on septic systems that sulk when the surrounding sand saturates.
Ring and describe the symptoms. Call (07) 3112 7997 with which fixtures are backing up and when it began, and we can usually have a plumber on the way the same day.
